Laboratories

The Department possesses analytical laboratories, where mineralogical, petrographical, as well as chemical and geochemical research is carried out. These include laboratories:

• Laboratory of light (optical) microscopy ;
• Laboratory of Gemology,
• Laboratory of experimental mineralogy;
• Laboratory of analytical geochemistry;
• Laboratory of biogeochemistry;
• Geomicrobiology laboratory.

Employees of the Department are authorized to perform analyzes in:

• Laboratory of critical elements AGH–KGHM;
• Laboratory of phase, structural, textural, and geochemical research.
